- Born in the Czech Republic, grew up in Prague, home country Germany
- Studied mechanical engineering at the TU of Prague, received his PhD at the TU of Chemnitz
- Over 20 years at Schaeffler in the Automotive and Industrial divisions, 7 years in Japan and China
- Since 2023 CTO at ebm-papst and member of the executive board
- Long year experiences with development and industrialization of innovative products for eMobility, robotics, digitalization and AI, air and heating technologies
- Supervisory board member, keynote speaker, book author, professor at Shanghai University
- Hobbies – endurance sports, history, culture, arts, travel
- Married, two children
